I wish that I could talk to every couple before they decide who is going to photograph their wedding & stress to them that they are arguably the most important wedding vendor that you can hire for your wedding day.
Just think: the flowers fade, the dress goes back into the closet, the uneaten food gets thrown out.
The photos are something you can look at everyday. Your kids will look at often, and your grandkids will look back on.
It's the only thing that surpasses generations.
Get the wedding photographer that speaks to you. You just light up when you see their images. Maybe even someone you could see yourself spending a lot of time with (because they will be with you your entire wedding day).

WHAT IF WE ARE AWKWARD?
Do not worry about that! That's literally my job to help guide you through the session. You two will be interacting the whole time, and won't have to worry about looking awkward. (I don't make you stand still and smile very often.) Don't worry, I'm not a fan of stiff posing.
DO YOU BACK UP YOUR IMAGES? HOW DO WE KNOW THAT OUR IMAGES ARE SAFE?
HECK YES!! Your wedding day is precious and cannot be repeated! During your wedding, I write to two different cards so that I have one backup right away, then when I get home, I have two hard drives that I save them too, and keep the original cards in a card locked in my home so I don't accidentally delete them prior to delivery.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR US TO GET OUR PICTURES BACK?
For wedding photos, can take up to 12 weeks to receive your gallery.
For engagement photos, you can expect to see them 4 weeks after our session day!
WHY SHOULD I HIRE A PROFESSIONAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER FOR MY WEDDING DAY? I KNOW SOMEONE WHO HAS A CAMERA.
So I'm going to be honest: you get what you pay for. If you don't pay a whole lot from Uncle Jim, it doesn't guarantee that you'll have beautiful images or any images at all.
You are going to want to look at these photos EVERY year and share with future generations. And let's be honest, your photos are the only thing that you take with you after the day is over.
HOW DO WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?
I have an online gallery system that I send all your images digitally. Although, you can have access to your gallery for 5 years online. I would download them RIGHT AWAY so that you know you have them.
